I. Product Introduction
ADM is a highly efficient halogen-free intumescent flame retardant masterbatch specifically developed for coated fabrics and soft applications such as polyurethane (PU) and vinyl resin (PVC). Through its unique synergistic phosphorous-nitrogen compounding technology, this product effectively promotes the formation of a dense carbon layer within polymer substrates, achieving outstanding flame retardancy while maintaining excellent processing compatibility and environmental compatibility.

III. Product Features
• 1. Highly effective flame retardancy with synergistic enhancement: The phosphorus-nitrogen system rapidly forms a dense, robust expanded carbon layer during combustion, effectively isolating heat and oxygen to interrupt the combustion cycle. Easily achieves UL94 V-0 rating (specific dosage requires testing).
• 2. Halogen-Free and Eco-Friendly: Free from bromine, chlorine, and other halogen elements, it complies with environmental regulations (e.g., RoHS, REACH). It emits low smoke and minimal toxic gases during combustion.
• 3. Excellent Compatibility: Particularly suitable for PU resin systems, it offers good dispersibility and minimally impacts substrate physical properties (e.g., flexibility, tactile feel).
• 4. Prevents Melt Dripping: Its charring expansion effectively suppresses polymer melt dripping during combustion, enhancing safety.
• 5. Superior Processability: Features uniform particle size distribution, facilitates easy processing and mixing, and is suitable for processes like dry PU slurry.
IV. Application
Flame-retardant PU leather: Addition about 15%–25%, suitable for automotive interior leather, furniture leather, high-end luggage leather, and specialized protective clothing leather.
Other halogen-free flame-retardant coatings for fabrics, films, and engineering plastics.
