MCA-B Coated MCA Halogen-Free Flame Retardant
I. Introduction
MCA-B is a melamine cyanurate (MCA) product treated with special modification technology. It is halogen-free, low-smoke, low-toxicity, and environmentally friendly, with good compatibility with resins and high flame retardant efficiency. It is mainly used in PA, adhesives, and as a low-smoke halogen-free flame retardant, effectively enhancing material flame retardancy and safety.
II. Product Feature
1. Good Dispersion: After special modification, it disperses easily and evenly in the matrix, avoiding agglomeration. This ensures stable flame retardant performance and reduces impact on mechanical properties.
2. Excellent Flame Retardancy: Suppresses combustion by releasing inert gases and forming a carbon layer.
3. Environmentally Friendly: Halogen-free, it doesn’t release toxic hydrogen halides upon combustion, being environment-friendly.
4. Good Compatibility: Compatible with PA, adhesives, etc., it doesn’t affect material processability or long-term stability.

IV. Applications
1. PA Materials: Suitable for PA6, PA66, etc. Recommended addition: 8% - 14%. It can be blended via conventional compounding and injection molding processes.
2. Adhesives: Can be added at 10% - 20% in adhesives, mixing thoroughly with raw materials without affecting adhesion and curing properties.
3. Low-Smoke Halogen-Free Flame Retardant: Used in wires and cables, building materials, automotive interiors, etc. It can be used synergistically with other halogen-free flame retardants.
V. Packaging, Storage, and Transportation
1. Packaged in paper-plastic bags, 25 kg per bag.
2. Store in a ventilated and shaded place.
3. Transport as a non-hazardous material.
