PQ-75M is a phosphorus-nitrogen-based intumescent halogen-free flame retardant masterbatch designed primarily for polypropylene and long-glass-fiber-reinforced polypropylene products, while also suitable for other high-end polyolefin flame-retardant applications.

The product integrates three key functional components—acid source, gas source, and carbon source—and achieves its flame-retardant effect through an intumescent charring mechanism. The formulation is free of ammonium polyphosphate, addressing the issue of water slippage during polyolefin extrusion processing, and offers excellent thermal stability, dispersibility, and flame retardancy efficiency. Materials modified with this product can achieve a UL 94 V-0 flame retardancy rating for 1.5 mm thick test specimens, with a LOI of 32 or higher; When blended with other gas-generating and acid-based flame retardant monomers, flame retardancy is further enhanced, meeting the requirements for 0.75 mm UL 94 V-0, GWIT 750°C, and GWFI 960°C, and passing the UL 746C standard 70°C/168-hour water immersion test.

Modified products feature low density and low smoke density, and fully comply with international environmental regulations such as RoHS and REACH. Applications include polyolefin sheets, glass-fiber-reinforced polypropylene parts, high-speed train interiors, and flame-retardant components for locomotives and rolling stock.

I. Product Introduction

PQ-75M is a phosphorus-nitrogen-based intumescent halogen-free flame retardant masterbatch designed primarily for polypropylene and long-glass-fiber-reinforced polypropylene products, while also suitable for other high-end polyolefin flame-retardant applications.

III. Product Features

1. Flame Retardancy: Excellent charring effect and high flame retardancy efficiency; sufficient phosphorus content and strong solid-phase flame retardancy; compatible with various flame retardants, easily meeting flame retardancy requirements.

2. Processing Properties: High thermal decomposition temperature and good heat aging resistance; suitable for a variety of processing methods; withstands high temperatures during extrusion, exhibits no water slippage, and has good settling properties.

3. Safety and Environmental Performance: Halogen-free, with low smoke generation and low smoke toxicity during combustion, meeting environmental requirements for use.


IV. Application

It can be used in combination with MPP, MCA, hydroxides, and other additives, and is suitable for both reinforced and non-reinforced thermoplastic resins such as PP, PE, EVA, T, and PETPU. It can also be used in thermosetting materials such as epoxy resins and unsaturated resins.

VI. Package Storage and Transportation
1. Paper bags with inner polybag, 25kg/bag.
