Achieving flame retardance without affecting your material's high-temperature processing performance is where Melamine Pyrophosphate (MPP) comes in! With its N and P components and CAS 15541-60-3, MPP undergoes endothermic decomposition, forming a carbonized layer that covers the surface of the combustor and prevents combustion. The released melamine further acts as an inert gas source, reducing oxygen levels and concentration levels of combustible gases produced by high polymer breakdown. It is RoHS compliant and only needs a 25-30% addition for UL94-V0 specifications.
