I. Introduction
YS-9005 is a high-performance halogen-free flame retardant based on organic phosphinate structure. It features a suitable particle size (D95 < 15μm), ensuring good dispersibility in polymer matrices. The product exhibits excellent high-temperature resistance with a decomposition temperature exceeding 350°C. It is insoluble in water and common organic solvents, demonstrating outstanding hydrolysis resistance. YS-9005 is suitable for the flame-retardant modification of cable sheathing and insulation materials, thermoplastic elastomers, and thick-walled or large cross-section parts that require high levels of halogen-free flame retardancy, heat resistance, solvent resistance, and anti-migration properties.
YS-9005 can be used alone or in combination with other halogen-free flame retardants to achieve a synergistic flame-retardant effect and further optimize the electrical properties, mechanical strength, and thermal stability of the material. It is suitable for extrusion processes and exhibits excellent performance particularly in the halogen-free flame retardant modification of power cables, communication cables, automotive wiring harnesses, and industrial cables—applications with strict requirements for surface quality, uniform dispersion, hydrolysis resistance, and long-term thermal stability.
