I. Product Introduction
TE-01 is a highly effective phosphorusnitrogen synergistic flame retardant developed specifically for thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) and thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU). Through proprietary surface modification technology, the flame retardant components are finely coated and activated, resulting in significantly improved dispersibility and compatibility within polar and nonpolar elastomer matrices. This readytouse additive allows manufacturers to achieve excellent flame retardancy with minimal impact on mechanical properties and processing performance.

III. Product Features
Modified for superior dispersibility – Surface coating technology ensures uniform distribution in TPE and TPU, eliminating white spots and agglomerates.
High flame retardant efficiency – Phosphorusnitrogen synergy enables UL94 V0 rating (1.6 mm) at moderate addition levels.
No dripping, antiflaming – Promotes char formation and suppresses melt dripping during combustion.
Halogenfree and environmentally friendly – Complies with RoHS, REACH and other international environmental standards; low smoke, low toxicity.
Minimal impact on mechanical properties – Preserves tensile strength, elongation, and flexibility of finished products.
Good thermal stability – Stable at conventional processing temperatures of TPE/TPU (up to 220°C).
IV. Applications
Suitable substrates: TPE (including SEBSbased, SBSbased), TPU (polyestertype and polyethertype).
Recommended addition level: 25%–40% by weight (adjust according to target flame retardant rating and substrate).
Mixing method: Dryblend with pellets and process via twinscrew extrusion, injection molding, or calendering. Ensure thorough mixing for optimal dispersion.
Processing notes: Recommended processing temperature 180–220°C. Avoid prolonged residence at high temperatures above 230°C.
