    In May 2025, ABS production is estimated at 0.522 million tons, down 8.1% due to new domestic facilities exacerbating oversupply. Despite a 60.5% year-on-year export surge from January to March, May exports face challenges due to US tariffs, with mixed impacts on white goods production. Raw material cost declines, led by a 19% drop in butadiene prices, have reduced ABS prices by 300 - 500 yuan / ton. Finished goods inventory dipped slightly to 0.196 million tons.
